What is FHOP all about? Jesus Christ and His redeeming work on the cross is our focus. We endeavor to be obedient to Christ’s command to make disciples (Matthew 28:19) powered by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
What should I expect when I attend? You will find FHOP to be an exciting, warm, receptive, faith-filled, family-oriented place of worship. From authentic worship to the dynamic preaching/teaching to discipleship activities for all age groups.
What to wear? FHOP has people from every walk of life. Different people prefer different styles of attire. We welcome to come however you feel comfortable.
What time do we meet? Our regular service schedule is Sundays at 10:30 am and Wednesday at 6:30 PM for all worship-related services. Please check our Facebook page for any other special events or services.
Is there childcare? We provide a staffed, trained, and supervised nursery and childcare program for your infants and small children. An information guide describing times, policies, and services are available at the nursery. In addition, we have an exciting children's ministry planned for your children grades k-5th.
How do I become a member? Becoming a member at FHOP is an exciting way to partner with the many other members in ministry opportunities and fellowship. Speak to one of our pastors about Growth Track.
How do I become baptized? Every believer is instructed by Christ to be baptized in water. Instructions for water baptism are given on Wednesday night in a brief meeting by one of our pastors during service. Water baptism will take place on the following Sunday morning. If a different instruction time is needed, a pastor will gladly work with you to make that happen.
Are there opportunities to serve? All members are encouraged to discover their giftings and become equipped for the many ministry opportunities provided by the church. We believe the happiest, most fulfilled believers are those involved in rewarding service to God and others. Through Growth Track we walk with members to discover the areas where God has called them to serve.
If I have a need, can I be prayed for? In every service, we provide time for people to receive prayer and spiritual encouragement from the Word.
